About
Meet the Therapist
Hello and welcome! My name is Alicia and I am the owner and speech-language pathologist (SLP) behind Bridge Speech Therapy Services. My passion for speech and language therapy started with my younger brother, who is Autistic and nonverbal. I saw firsthand the impacts that communication breakdowns can have on a family, one’s quality of life, and relationships. Thanks to my brother, I learned from a young age that communication goes far beyond verbal speech and does not look one way. I have since carried this with me through my career, along with a deep respect for every individual’s unique voice.
Being able to communicate is essential to connecting us to one another and living our lives to our full potential. I am passionate about helping my clients develop their speech and language skills to effectively and confidently communicate in their day to day lives.
After working with clients across the lifespan in schools, medical settings, nonprofits, and clinics, I opened my private practice for the freedom to provide more personalized and effective speech therapy services to my local community.
