  • Is your child talking? Are they increasing the amount they talk or the amount of words they use over time?

  • Does your child have difficulty responding to questions or understanding instructions?

  • Are your child’s speech or language difficulties causing them to become frustrated?

  • Does your child repeat words or sounds over and over?

  • Does your child’s play or social interaction seem unusual or inappropriate?

  • Does your child have a diagnosis that can affect speech and language (e.g., Autism, Down syndrome, hard of hearing, developmental delay)?

Getting Started

  • 1. Free consultation

Are you concerned about your child’s communication skills? Would you like to speak with an experienced and licensed speech-language pathologist? Contact us and we’ll be happy to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. At this point we can begin to make a plan to get you started receiving the services you need.

  • 2. Evaluation

Participate in a speech and language evaluation. New clients must have an evaluation before beginning treatment. This could possibly be waived if a current evaluation can be provided. An evaluation is needed to assess the areas of concern(s) and determine an appropriate intervention plan.

  • 3. Individual Therapy

Begin regular speech and language therapy sessions to work towards your communication goals. Therapy is evidence-based and tailored to the needs, personality, and interests of each client, taking a strengths-based approach. Caregivers are encouraged to ask questions and be an active participant in sessions.
